Finest
handicraft work means that I am building only few of these instrument in
a
year. The back may be made from Indian or Brazilian rosewood, the soundboard
from spruce or western red cedar.
The rosetta is hand made in limited editions of 10 to 20 pieces and consists of more than 10,000 particles of wood. Therefore, the rosetta of the Schlemper Classic tells you in which building period the guitar was made. The body of the guitar is completely finished with ruby French polish and the neck is done with varnish for greater durability. Rodgers or Freewheel tuning machines are also available.
The Schlemper Classic is the peak of classical guitar making. My bracing system for the soundboard lends the guitar a powerful and warm yet brilliant tone. My specialty is a tuning wedge, which is inserted into a cantilever transverse bar and allows me to graduate the soundboard of the assembled and strung guitar.
